Day 2

So today was the 2nd day for Derek with his grandparents. It was another successful day. Apparently he got up every 20-30 minutes during the day but did not cry. He is doing a lot better than we thought. It looks like he is comfortable away from us during the day. I'm sure that will translate into him being able to enjoy being around others rather than hiding behind his mommy and daddy. Once we got home from work, Erica and I went straight to my parents house to pick up Derek, not before grabbing a bite to eat, courtesy of mom's home cooking. Once we got home, Erica fed DJ and I took the girls for a nice jog. After that, he knocked out for the night.
