Today is Erica's 28th Birthday (officially 10:09PM). Happy Birthday Hunny! Man I remember when she turned 21 and we went to Ralph's near UCSD at midnight so that Erica could make her first legal alcohol purchase. It was a small bottle of Kalua and Sour Apple Schnaps. Time is sure flying and we had an exciting day for her. The last couple of Birthday celebrations included us drunk. Things are different now and we have a little man to take care of. Maybe down the road when we can drink again. The day started off by Erica feeding Derek at around 6AM. After he was finish eating, we brought Derek to Erica's parents(both our staying with us this week to spending time with Derek while we are at work) and all of us(including Derek...hehe) sang Happy Birthday. We then headed to work and I took Erica out to lunch for sushi at Yummi Makki near her work. They had this special where there 4th sushi roll was free. Our order included a California Beach, Pink, Mountain and another one that I forgot the name of. Man we were stuffed.
After work, we picked up some L&L's Hawaiian food for Erica's birthday dinner. We grabbed four lunch plates consisting of chicken katsu, moco loco(hamburger patties with an egg and gravy), kalua pig shavings and bbq short ribs. Overall, Erica had a great 28th Birthday. She got to spend time with Derek, her parents and I. Now we're finally the same age...that is until June 21st of this year.
One more thing. This weekend brought a couple of milestone for our little boy. He can sit up! Also, he outgrew his old car seat so we picked up a new one for him. Check out the pics! Enjoy!
